My daughter, you are so bright and so beautiful! You radiate love and compassion. Thank you for allowing me to transform your heart to shine my love and my light. Not only for yourself, but for others also.

You are my heartbeat! You are light! You are brave! You are beauty! You are grace! You are safe with Me, and I love you. You are not alone, not now, not ever. I am with you always.

The enemy will want you to focus on the darkness, but I say - turn your gaze towards Me. Choose Me! Trust Me! In every circumstance, in every choice, in every conversation, thought and action, let me be your light and your truth. I long for every part of you. Come higher into my presence, let us rest and reset together when you feel overwhelmed or anxious. Let me fill you with My Peace and My Rest. I have abundance for you! Abundant joy, abundant peace, and most of all - abundant Love.

Lets go together,

Your loving Father

Gentle Reflection Exercise

Now, take a few moments to pause, breathe, and meet with God in a quiet and imaginative space of rest and revelation.

  1. Take 3 deep belly breaths to calm your heart and mind

Find a comfortable position. Place one hand on your upper chest and the other on your belly, just below your rib cage. Breathe in slowly through your nose, letting the air in deeply, towards your lower belly. The hand on your belly should rise. Hold your breath for a few seconds, and push the air out through your mouth, letting go of all your stress and tension. Hold a few seconds after you have breathed out, and repeat 3 times.

  1. Guided prayer

Use this prayer as a starting point, if you want to expand and pray further, do so.

“God, please meet me where I am, let your Spirit dwell in my mind, heart, body and soul, and let Your Light drive out all darkness and distractions for this time together. Fill me with your love, and let me feel your heartbeat.”

  1. Exercise

Imagine you are sitting on a big soft, white cloud with God. You feel the warmth of the sun on your skin, and see the rays shining all around you. Find God in your picture, is He sitting next to you, do you feel His warmth around you? Allow Him into your space. Just you and Him. You are safe, happy and comfortable. Nothing bothers you, and you have no rush and no stress.

Imagine the biggest problem or struggle that you are facing at the moment. Show it to God, and ask him how He sees the solution, how His light can shine in and through it. Sit in the picture for a moment and let Him show you in your imagination. Allow Him to show you a picture, or hear a phrase. Don't stress - let Him do the work. If you don't see anything right away. Just sit in the picture on the cloud with God. Let Him minister to you. He knows what you need.

Trust your mind, your imagination, and trust God. He made your imagination, and trust that He can speak into your imagination.

  1. Journal

When you have felt God speak into your heart, you can make a few notes in your journal, write down what you heard in your Spirit, or scribble the picture you have seen. There is no right or wrong, this is your personal time with God, trust that He will meet you! He loves your company!

Journal prompts:

What did you feel God showed you, a picture, a few words, or a feeling in your Spirit, regarding your problem that you gave to Him? Just let your writing flow, don’t overthink.

……………..

Do these thoughts bring life and light? How does it change how you see your problem/situation?

……………..

Find a bible verse to anchor what you have heard in God’s truth. For example, if God showed you an image of rays of light that shines into your problem, you can google “bible verses that speaks about God’s light”, and read through them to see which one resonates with your heart. Write this verse in your journal and reflect on it when you are reminded of what you brought to Jesus’s feet today. When you feel anxious about your problem or situation again, remind yourself of this truth, this bible verse, that God spoke into your heart today.

Psalm 93:3-5 ESV

3 The floods have lifted up, O Lord,

the floods have lifted up their voice;

the floods lift up their roaring.

4 Mightier than the thunders of many waters,

mightier than the waves of the sea,

the Lord on high is mighty!

5 Your decrees are very trustworthy;

holiness befits your house,

O Lord, forevermore.
